This special PVA fiber has the specificity to melt and completely disappear in cold water (i.e., between 20°C and 40°C). When dissolving in (cold) water, this PVA fiber does not leave behind any micro-plastics which makes it an environmental friendly material. This specificity, coupled with its high strength, high tenacity and low elongation makes it very interesting to use for different applications: as reinforcing fiber for spinning high-end (and fragile) natural fibers or for non-woven fabrics (embroidery base fabric).
